I was not expecting much of an improvement though since it has not been too long since the last game. It looks good and I am sure it will play great.
For North America, yes. World wide... Nope. But in the end, does it matter? At this late in the game it is evident that both consoles will be around for some time and that the PS3 is gaining world wide so much so that it will become second place by the end of the gen... Not a place to brag about IMHO. Both of these consoles should be doing better than the Wii but the casuals sure do have a thing for the redesigned Gamecube.

Thanks for your opinion. Thankfully however, it is not a shared opinion with the majority. Each console has strengths and weaknesses. Sure for some it would be nice to have cross game chat on the PS3 but in no way doe having that feature or not having that feature make a game console any more or less "next gen". This quote held more water when Halo: CE was released and maybe even up to when Halo 2 was released but since then, it is just not true. Sorry, but FPS's are getting better across all platforms and most devs creating them have a good idea of what works and what does not. I would rather see what happens when the game is released rather than base my purchase on what the dev says, since we all know they are not going to knock their own game...

As for supporting your argument, it is much better if you would have just said that historically, games get better looking as the console ages and soon get to a point where they hit the ceiling of graphical power. Another great example of that without using fanboy...

FOr the next few months that would hit this list? It's odd to see that despite the small foot print of the 360 in Japan that there are no games that make any impact on this list. I see one on there now but what about the future?
You are simply conflating the topic by using games that have over a year time span between release dates. Sorry, but if you want to be taken seriously, then use games more akin to the same dates like Uncharted 2 and AC2...
It will be a tough call to switch over to console but to be honest, my friends list on the PS3 makes the group of friends I have with PC's look pretty small. I go where the friends are and most of my buddies have PS3's.
With all the new tech out it makes the 3D experience much better and now to have it in our homes with the big screen HDTV's has me giddy. I love 3D and can't wait to get the update and get that 3D ball rolling in my own home.

Of course they are more than capable but the 360 cannot perform 3D without the latest and greatest version of HDMI.
